Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, >

ב

that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

ג

2His seed shall be mighty in the land;

ד

the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

ה

3Wealth and riches shall be in his house;

ו

and his righteousness abideth for ever.

ז

4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness;

ח

he is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

ט

5It is well with the man that is gracious and lendeth;

י

he will sustain his cause in judgment.

כ

6For he shall not be moved for ever:

ל

the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

מ

7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings;

נ

his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah;

ס

8His heart is maintained, he is not afraid,

ע

until he see his desire upon his oppressors.

פ

9He scattereth abroad, he giveth to the needy;

צ

his righteousness abideth for ever:

ק

his horn shall be exalted with honour.

ר

10The wicked man shall see it and be vexed;

ש

he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:

ת

the desire of the wicked shall perish.
